2017 Wichita Heart Ball
Saturday, February 11, 2017
The Wichita Heart Ball, attended by more than 500 individuals from Sedgwick County's business, medical and social communities, is the annual black-tie gala benefiting the American Heart Association's life saving mission. The evening's festivities include an amazing silent auction, elegant dinner, inspiring program and spectacular live auction. The night ends with our Pulse Party. It is a night you don't want to miss!
Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) rank as America's No. 1 killer while stroke is the number 5 cause of death. Nearly 2,200 Americans die of CVD each day - that is one person every 39 seconds. Please join the American Heart Association in building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke by celebrating with us that evening.
Our mission is made possible by our generous donors and volunteers. Since 1949, we have invested billions of dollars in research, currently we have over $2.6 million dollars in active research in Kansas. The American Heart Association funded breakthroughs including the first artificial heart valve, techniques and standards for CPR, pacemakers, cholesterol drugs and drug coated stents.
Please join us at the Wichita Heart Ball and share with us your "why."
